Bored and still awake. Inbox me anything. :)
I wish my relationship was just a sliiight bit normal.
I think one of the biggest concerns for most African or middle east women is getting along with her in-laws, especially the mom. Its definitely something I worry about, because sometimes the mom or sisters can be cruel or they just dont mesh well. I’ve heard to many horror stories of bad in laws in Sudan. As far as i’m concerned, the bottom line is respect both ways.
I love how all my friends are telling me they saw my “in-laws” at the graduation. lol -_-
so inbox me peops.
i’m so bored at work.
I love hearing a good love story. My friends mom just told me how her and their dad met and married. They’ve been happily married for 33 years. Masha’Allah.
She mentioned your name and my heart stopped for a second.
As I was driving home from work today, I happened to pass by the bus stop down the street. I had to take a second glance as I saw a girl who was in elementary school with me, standing at the bus stop with her two kids. She’s 20 years old with two kids.

Be honest, brutally honest. That is what’s going to maintain relationships.

I just love finding good bargains! Found an Akribos XXI gold watch for 60 bucks at TJ maxx. Before today I never even heard of that brand, but it reminded me of a MK watch and i’ve been wanting an MK watch in gold for AWHILE! The retail value of that watch was $495. Not only that, I’ve also been waiting to invest in a pair of nice nude pumps. I had my eyes on these Vince Camuto pumps...

Yeah same! Never Sudanese, but i’ve gotten almost everything else in the spectrum. Habasha, Somalian, Indian, Hispanic, Arabian. I guess that shows how much people know about us and what we look like, cause from one Sudanese to the next, I can spot one a mile away :P
i get asked if im somali on a weekly basis -_- Rarely ever do strangers say “Hey are you Sudanese?!”

My Foolish Heart
Call me boring, but this is my kinda music.
So back in my freshman year of high school before I moved to Sudan, I used to play in my schools Orchestra. There was this one senior in our class that also helped to mentor us. He played on a professional level with our teacher at concerts and events outside of school. They had both been taught by the same man for many years from childhood. This guy wasnt technically “eye candy”, but...

How To complete the QURAN in Ramadan:
x-fisabilillah-x:
thequietshygirl:
The Qur’an has 600 pages approx.. If you divide it on 30 days, that’s 20 pages a day. You see, that’s difficult to do right? But, if you divide it on the 5 prayers a day, it gets easier:
*If you read 4 pages after every salah in ramadan, then you’ve completed the Qur’an.
*If you want to complete the Qur’an twice, you read 4 pages before and after every...

I know its bad to compare and all, but its depressing when you’re back at work and each of the girls you work with are telling you of romantic things their guy did for them over the weekend and then look at you and you don’t have sh*t to say back… “Well I went to the park and took a walk with myself this weekend for all it counts.” I wish I could at least mention one...
